Taxi App for Taxi Companies
Your passengers book directly with you by app, your drivers get the job on their phone, and the control centre sees everything on one map: the HiTaxi booking app and the TaxiAgentur driver app – for iPhone and Android.

The TaxiAgentur taxi software includes two apps. With HiTaxi, your passengers book a taxi directly with your company – right away or as an advance booking – follow the driver on the map and send them messages. With the driver app, your drivers accept jobs and report pick-up and drop-off. Both apps are available on the App Store and Google Play, and every booking arrives in your control centre just like any other ride.
Two apps, one control centre
Anyone looking for a taxi app for taxi companies usually means one of two things: an app that lets their own passengers book, or an app that gets jobs to their drivers. With TaxiAgentur, both are part of the same software.
The booking in the passenger app and the job in the driver app are the same ride. Nobody has to retype anything, and the control centre sees at that very moment what has been booked, accepted and driven.
HiTaxi for passengers
Book a taxi, follow the driver on the map, message the driver, rate the ride – signing in with a mobile number.
Driver app for drivers
Accept jobs via push, report pick-up and drop-off, photograph receipts, shift report as a PDF.
Control centre in the browser
All bookings and vehicles on one live map, plus calendar, customer file and invoices.
Booking link and QR code
Your own link and QR code take your customers straight to your company in the app.
What your passengers can do in the HiTaxi taxi app
- Book now or later: enter the pick-up location and destination, ride now or place an advance booking with date and time.
- Choose the right ride: standard ride, patient transport, ride billed by invoice, large-capacity taxi, airport or courier.
- Driver on the map: as soon as a driver has accepted, the passenger sees the vehicle and the estimated arrival time.
- Notifications on the phone: accepted, on the way, arrived – every step is reported automatically.
- Message the driver: “I’m at the back entrance” goes straight to the driver, without a private number.
- Estimated price: if you have stored your fare tariff, the passenger sees a price range in advance. The taximeter is what counts.
- Save home and work: frequent addresses are there with a single tap, and past rides are kept in the history.
- Rate and cancel: after the ride, the passenger gives stars; a booking can be withdrawn with a reason.
How your customers get into the app
- Booking link and QR code: every company gets its own link and a QR code to print – for business cards, your website, taxi stickers or receipts. Whoever opens it books directly with you.
- Display stand with a fixed pick-up location: for a hotel, restaurant or doctor’s practice, you print a QR code with the address stored in it. The guest scans and books without needing to know the address.
- Sign in with a mobile number: code by SMS or WhatsApp, no password. The app recognises known customers by their number.
- Book: the ride appears in your control centre and with your drivers – exactly like a job taken over the phone.
What your control centre stays in control of
- One switch for the app: turn app booking on or off – with one click in the “Customer App” (Kunden App) window.
- Schedule for each weekday: for example only at night or only at weekends. Outside these times, the passenger sees when booking is possible again and can call you directly.
- All app passengers in one list: with phone number, number of rides and last use; individual passengers can be blocked and unblocked.
- New passengers in the customer file: anyone who signs in for the first time is then listed in your customer file. The app never overwrites a name your control centre has entered.
- No booking is left waiting: if no driver accepts within five minutes, the passenger and the control centre are notified.
- Your company, your customers: without your consent, your company does not appear in any public list, and the booking goes to no one else.
The driver app: the job on the driver’s phone
The second half of every ride takes place in the driver app. A booking from HiTaxi arrives there as a push notification, even when the app is closed. The driver accepts, sets off and taps a button at pick-up and at drop-off – the passenger sees this instantly in their app, and the control centre on the map.
If the passenger sends a message, it appears in the driver’s job, and the driver can reply directly from there. At the end of the shift, the driver app sums up the shift as a PDF.

Which companies benefit from a taxi app
For the small taxi company, the app is a second channel alongside the phone: regular customers can book even when nobody is free to answer. For the company that works with hotels, practices and restaurants, it is the display stands with a fixed pick-up location. And for the private-hire company and the transport service, it is advance bookings that go into the calendar without a phone call.
The apps are part of the TaxiAgentur Software for taxi companies. If you wish, calls are taken by AI phone answering, rides are assigned by dispatch, and billing is done in the invoicing program – all in the same system. The Features page gives an overview of everything.
Frequently asked questions about the taxi app
Which taxi app is there for taxi companies?
With TaxiAgentur there are two: HiTaxi, the booking app for your passengers, and the driver app for your drivers. Both are available for iPhone and Android, and both work with the same control centre in the browser.
Where do my passengers find the app?
In the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store under “HiTaxi – Taxi bestellen”. The quickest way in is via your own booking link or your company’s QR code – then your company is already selected.
How do passengers sign in?
With their mobile number. They receive a code by SMS or WhatsApp and are then signed in – without a password. Anyone already in your customer file is recognised by their number.
Does the booking go to my company or to a booking platform?
To your company. The booking appears in your control centre and with your drivers like any other ride. Without your consent, your company does not appear in any public list.
Can the passenger see where the taxi is right now?
Yes. As soon as a driver has accepted the ride, the app shows the vehicle on the map and the estimated arrival time. Every change – accepted, on the way, arrived – is reported on the passenger’s phone.
Does the app show a fare?
Only if you have stored your fare tariff in the software. The passenger then sees a price range as an estimate; the taximeter is what counts. Without a stored tariff, the app shows no price.
What happens if no driver accepts the booking?
If nobody has accepted after five minutes, the passenger is advised to give you a quick call, and your control centre receives a notification. For advance bookings, the notification comes ten minutes before the pick-up time.
Can I switch off app booking temporarily?
Yes. In the “Customer App” (Kunden App) window of the control centre, you turn booking on and off with a switch or set a schedule for each weekday. Outside these times, the passenger sees when booking is possible again and can call you directly.
