TaxiAgentur’s driver app is the app for the drivers of a taxi or private-hire company. It shows new jobs by push notification, reports pick-up and drop-off to the control centre, tracks the vehicle by GPS, takes photos of transport prescription forms (Transportscheine) and fuel receipts, and produces a report as a PDF at the end of the shift. It is available for iPhone and Android.
What the driver app can do
Push for new rides
The job announces itself on the mobile phone, even when the app is closed. Accept or decline – declined rides go straight back to the control centre.
Sign in by PIN
A short code instead of a password, and the device stays signed in.
Pick-up and drop-off
Two buttons per job. The control centre sees at the same moment whether the passenger is on board.
Photograph documents
Photograph the transport prescription form (Transportschein) and papers at drop-off, several per ride. For fuel receipts, the AI reads out the filling station and amount.
Shift report as PDF
The whole shift on one sheet, with the total of the accepted rides.
Direct line to the control centre
Read messages and reply directly from the window – the two-way radio becomes superfluous.
A shift with the driver app
- Start the shift: choose the vehicle, enter the meter reading, go. The shift’s counters start at zero.
- Handover report: tap damage on five views of the vehicle – recorded before setting off.
- Accept a job: the job arrives by push. The driver accepts or declines.
- Pick-up and drop-off: one button each. Plus a short note at pick-up and once again on arrival, if there is something to record.
- Documents: photograph the transport prescription form at drop-off, the fuel receipt when refuelling.
- End of shift: break times and remarks are recorded, and the shift report goes to the control centre as a PDF.
What the control centre gains
Every press of a button in the driver app appears immediately in dispatch: on the live map the control centre sees where the vehicle is, which job is in progress and whether the passenger is already on board. Queries by phone or radio are no longer needed.
The shifts in the driver app are also the basis for the office: from them, staff management calculates the working time per person, and fuel receipts and other receipts are collected with the employee instead of in the glove compartment.
Advance bookings are shown in the app. The driver sees what is still due today without calling the control centre.

Which mobile phones is the driver app available for?
For iPhone and for Android. The drivers download TaxiAgentur’s driver app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
How do the drivers sign in?
With a short PIN code instead of a password. The device then stays signed in, so that nobody has to type a password in the driver’s seat.
Do jobs also arrive when the app is closed?
Yes. A new job announces itself as a push notification on the mobile phone, even when the app is closed.
Does tracking keep running in the background?
Yes. GPS keeps running in the background during the shift and resumes by itself after the phone is restarted. That way the control centre sees the vehicle on the live map without interruption.
Can I withdraw a driver’s access to the app again?
Yes. In staff management you block the driver app for a person with one click – and restore access just as easily.
How do the transport prescription form and fuel receipt reach the control centre?
By photo. The driver photographs the transport prescription form and papers when dropping off the passenger, several per ride. For fuel receipts, the artificial intelligence reads out the filling station and amount by itself.
